This was the Arabian Horse Associations region twelve competition for endurance and competitive trail.  Winning competitors here qualify to compete in the national competition upcoming later this year.  It dawned hot and humid at Big South Fork National River and Recreational Area, and the horses and riders that completed this event are truly worthy of their honors.  I send out my thanks for inviting me to come and cheers to all the volunteers who put in many hours to make this event go smoothly.  Since I have competed in this event in my past, it was a change of pace to see it through the camera lens.

I also wish to extend my deepest thanks to my sister, Donna, for being brave enough to come help me with logistics, lugging gear, and taking photos herself.  We hiked a good many miles, and I do believe we ended up well roasted!  Her photos are now posted, and start with the prefix of "DSC".  If you would like to extend compliments to her, contact me, and I will do so.

In order to get this many photos on the web, some of my normal editing was not done.  Please do not hesitate to ask questions about a photo, including clarity, color, or even closed eyes and background clutter.  All of these things can usually be fixed if desired.  Contact me, and I will be able to answer these questions privately.  I hope that everyone visiting this page enjoy our hard work!
