These photos are from the long anticipated return of the AERC Longstreet's Charge ride at Pigeon Mountain in LaFayette, Georgia. This location has been unavailable due to right-of-way dispute for nearly eight years. How nice to see the return of this ride, and other events, back to Pigeon Mountain! I personally ride Pigeon Mountain on a regular basis, and know the challenges this venue can offer. My personal congratulations to all who gave it their best, and to those who completed.

I had a great time photographing this event, and hope I caught each and every one of you on the trails. The riders may have gone 30 & 55 miles, yet I hiked over 10 miles, and drove over 120 miles (over the speed limit!) to get your pictures! I do not use flash photography without permission, so please note that 50 mile start photos have only portions in focus. Due to website compression, ordered prints will be of much better quality and properly color balanced versus what is shown here. Do not hesitate to ask for cropping or other questions.
